The NESCO Electric Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer removes air from regular and wide mouth mason jars to extend shelf life of food. Foods that can be safely stored in vacuum-sealed jars include dehydrated foods, nuts, rice, flour, bulk spices, oats, powdered milk, dry ingredients, pasta, beans coffee, cereal, and more. Please note that sealing your jars with a jar vacuum sealer is not equivalent to heat or pressure canning but is still a terrific way to preserve freshness.
